    Jy wil haar lees
    haar silhoeët in jou gees

    terwyl haar gedagtes
    jou vang in ‘n gang
    elke hoek en draai

    twee beëlde in ‘n spieël
    eers in die een, dan weer ‘n ander

    haar sagte lyf
    altyd in lyn

    in haar slaap
    gestaltes wat rafel

    marionet aan ‘n tou
    masker verdwyn agter gordyn

    pen en papier vrylik te kry
    al's neer te skryf, in totsiens-tyd
