Winter is -

Winter is –

I look outside my window, scared i became
Is winter approaching - the sun becomes cold
Where will my soul get its warmth from
if not from the sun ?
The only thing for months now, that kept me sane

What will become of me now
if all the colours fade
The green grass, my willow tree-
all brown and dead, it’s a disgrace
My soul grows weak inside me -

This lonely sad death that winter brings must fade
I will not live thru winter if this is the case
No love, no warmth, no laughter -
God free us from this state
open our eye's, fill us with grace

Make us see the lovely colors that winter paints
Make a fire in my soul, give me Your love -
Open my ears, so i can hear
open my heart for Your embrace -

for without You life is death
no sunshine, no colour
no green grass or laughter
If i have no faith !!
