The drudgery of picking yourself up every time to fight the odds ranged against you by people, individuals and society can be sole destroying. More so the the individual one you are willing to gamble for and loose by knowingly giving up everything to win over that person. Its like the little girl kissing a frog and longing to see her prince and for him to sweep her away.

Building the house of cards every day is the worst part because of the fear that it may collapse again.

Crying is good, you are alive with emotion. Fear only the the absence of the ability to emote because all will have lost meaning. Even pain is better than the void!

Soulful, deep and almost tangible!

Die kaarthuis is baie "fragile" kan enige tyd in tuimel. Met dieselfde hand kaarte wat juis nooit verander moet jy daardie huis standvastig laat staan en in stand hou. Ek herken die gevoel in die gedig van moedeloosheid oor dieselfde hand elke dag, maar die stand van die huis hang in jou gemoed. Well done.

Liewe Rudi vriend - hoe broos is hierdie woorde van jou - en tog - bespeur ek hierdie "committedness" om hierdie 'hand' te maak werk.....
Shoe - dis pragtig.....

Dankie B - jip, soms moet die hand maar werk. Al moet ons die belegging daarin met "opset weggooi" is die belegging nie vir "ander" so waardeloos nie.
